On this page, you’ll find key information about what locations are available for Paris photoshoots during 2024. Indeed, many iconic spots will not be suitable for photos due to the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris.
Updated April 23, 2024
Given the uniqueness of this event, we’ll no longer be able to ensure taking photos in iconic landmarks during the months of July and August 2024. If you wish to do a Paris photo shoot in alternative Parisian spots (streets, cafés, gardens), we are looking forward to take your photos in Paris.
The photographers available during the summer are: Lena, Alex, Daniel and Odrida.
If you wish to know which spots are still available for Paris photos, please read on or jump directly to the spots.
Knowing that many places will need a make-over and that new infrastructure needs to be built, many places will be probably closed to public a couple of months before and after the official dates of the games.
This means that most iconic spots will be inaccessible from May to October 2024. We’ll try to keep you updated here about the precise closeing and opening dates of each of our points of interest.
The short answer is yes. Around 7 million people are expected to join the Olympics.
Here is the map shared by Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo, containing all the sites/venues that will host games and festivities during the Olympics.
What we know so far is that the following main locations will be inaccesible during the Olympics.
The main location for Eiffel Tower photos. Closes completely on July 16th. The fountains are already closed, the gardens will be closing on July 1st.
Trocadero should open on July 27th for pedestrians, however, we are not sure yet what’s the exact date when we’ll be able to take photos there.
Paris is the capital of love, not only for its iconic landmarks. Also for its charming cobble stoned streets and cafés. Experience the city like locals with a romantic walk and fresh croissants.
For the moment the Montmartre area seems open for tourists. Enjoy this picturesque neighbourhood with unforgettable photos around the Sacre Coeur and iconic little streets.
One of the most visited Parisian landmark, it represents history and architecture. Perfect spot for romantic as well as family photos.
There are many beautiful gardens in Paris and around. If your more into gardens than streets and cafés, then tell your photographer during the planning process, to adjust the itinerary.
You can book a hotel room in a place that has an iconic lobby, staircases or a rooftop, especially if you’re celebrating something special, such as a Paris marriage proposal.

If you are planning to travel to Paris during the Olympic Games, it is essential to be well-prepared to make the most of your trip. This way you can benefit from a smooth and enjoyable experience during your visit to Paris in 2024.
The Olympic Games attract a significant number of visitors, which means that accommodation and transportation options can become limited.
Prioritize the events you want to attend and plan your sightseeing around those. Be sure to leave some room for spontaneity and unexpected discoveries.
Paris has an efficient and extensive public transportation system, including metro lines, buses, and trams. During the Olympic Games, public transportation will be the most convenient and reliable way to get around the city. Especially the subway (Paris metro).

Hi,
Im going To visit paris october 2024. I read that due to the olympics no eiffel tower PHOTOSHOOT will be AVAILABLE. I will be there the week of october 7 what are the chances im able to book an eiffel tower shoot. Thank you .
Dear Carmen,
October should be totally fine. It looks like trocadero will be completely free of works on October 8th. That being said, Trocadéro, the most wanted location should start to open as early as July 27th.
We are looking forward to having you on board!
Good evening,
My family will be in Paris July 5th to 7th would like to do a photoshoot for my daughter 16th birthday but it seems around the eiffel tower will be close, please advise, thank you
Hello Berline!
For the moment, the upper part of Trocadero is open and it might be open until early July. That being said, there are spots with a similar view over the Tower, such as Bir Hakeim bridge, avenue Camoens, etc
Then, there are so many beautiful locations that Paris has to offer, we can surely find spots that will make your daughter look stunning and will remind her of how beautiful Paris was during her special trip.
Bonjour, My wife and I will be in Parisfrom 16June on a Viking 7 day cruise, then from 23June to the 26th,staying at the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile, departing early on the 26th What locations would be possible for a 2 hour shoot? We are in our 70s…
Fred, we would love taking your photos. I would recommend the Montmartre area, which is not far from your hotel, with a park for the second location. Parc Monceau or Jardin de Bagatelle.
We just booked a photoshoot for May 8, 2024. will we able to still get photos at the trocadero?
Right now, on April 5th, we are standing in line to get a few photos at trocadero. In a month, even that spot might go away. So we would suggest using alternative spots with eiffel tower view such as bir hakeim, avenue Camoens, etc
I’m planning to visit paris from may 18 to may 20. Can i book an eiffel tower photoshoot on those dates with you? what will be the available locations for those dates?
We would be delighted to take your photos in paris!
You can book and eiffel tower photoshoot, but please have in mind the possibility to take photos in other locations than trocadero
our artists will recommend the best location based on what’s available on that date
also, follow us on instagram, we are publishing updates regularly about the available locations
