Emilia and Flavius live in London and planned a romantic getaway to Paris for a weekend.
The Paris photo session was actually a birthday gift for her. It was also the perfect opportunity to celebrate their recent engagement in the most romantic city by definition.

Thank you for the AMAZING photos! We absolutely love them and everyone we show them to is so impressed. This was our first visit to Paris, and, although we were charmed by the magic of the city, we have to say the photo session was, by far, the most wonderful experience we had while there. We absolutely loved working with Fran. He is not only a talented photographer, but also a genuinely nice person.”

The difficult part of a sunrise session is to actually wake up very early.
However the spectacular and colorful sunrise view over Eiffel Tower and the feeling of being only you and your chéri there, is priceless !
You are probably wondering …
How did they manage to get the birds in the frame ?
It was a piece of cake, well, actually a piece of baguette. We lured them with some bread crumbs and they simply came where we wanted them to come and then we scared them.
If I were to pick my favorite engagement photos Paris, the one below would definitely be the one. We are crazy about capturing genuine candid moments. This is where the true personality of the couple shows.
A sunrise photo shoot with The Paris Photographer always implies tasting a fresh coffee or hot chocolate with some delicious croissants or pains au chocolat. It is the reward for getting up so early. Emilia and Flavius deserved it plainly !
This was the moment when Emilia changed for a more casual dress, continuing more comfortably the photo session.
“The most important thing that Fran achieved was to really capture the essence of the day – the atmosphere, the love and laughter we shared.” ~ Emilia & Flavius
The next stop was the Carousel, near Tour Eiffel, but unfortunately it was closed at 9 am. We managed to have some shots with the Carousel as a background and catch some playful sun rays in the pictures.
From there, we headed towards the Alexandre III bridge and stopped on our way for this romantic spot having Bateaux Mouches, the famous open excursion boats on the river Seine, in the background.
The light there, between the trees, was perfect for some balloon images too, who thanks to the fun ideas of Flavius turned out ridiculously hilarious.
We finished the Paris engagement photo shoot on Alexandre III bridge.
“We want to thank you again so very much for your beautiful work. It has been a great pleasure to work with you, and we look forward to hopefully repeating it again before too long.” ~ Emilia & Flavius
The flowers in front of the Petit Palais were so alluring that we took another couple of pictures between the flowers.
After a delicious lunch at Le Relais Gascon , we aimed for some creative images of the lovely engagement ring.
Props: balloons, glass and water spray for the rain drops image, crumbs for the pigeons and hand mirror for the reflections image.
That unique thing: the red shoes Flavius was wearing made a huge impression on Fran.
Fun facts: The red rose that appears in the pictures after the Carousel shots, was given by an American wedding photographer who was shooting three brides in the water of the fountains of Trocadéro. Thank you !
